Summarise the key points you made this week
within your role:
This week, we had begun the script. The
idea of the script is that the presenters learn it, however it is in a way that
it isn’t too rehearsed and too strict. We had decided that the script must be
quite basic as this way, it would be easier to base the show on, therefore it
is more of a relaxed show and therefore the audience will interact with it
easier. Also, I was taken our by Farhana to film ‘Street Beat’, which is where
I, as one of the presenters, go into the street and I show music videos to
random passersby and ask their opinion of it. This was enjoyable to do and
looks very good when edited. Whilst I was doing this, TJ carried on with the
script.
What was the group’s response to your
ideas/progress?
I filmed with Ellie, Prabhjot and Anthony –
we had to be very patient with both each other and our surroundings, as it was
quite a busy area therefore many cars and other passersby would often interrupt
our filming but we stayed patient, therefore both us and the rest of the group
were pleased with ourselves and our progress.
What has been successful this week?
Streetbeat was probably the most
successful, as other than that the script was for some reason not completed, of
which it will need to be by next week.
What did you need to change or develop and
why?
Whilst writing the script, we saw that some
thing wouldn’t be possible to do, therefore we had to change the running order
and then amend the script afterwards alongside Jasmeet to get the best possible
outcome.
What do you intend to do next week?
Next week I am aiming, alongside TJ, to finish
the script in order to start the Master Script – whilst this is being completed
we will need to do the modes of address which includes seeing which different
styles we can use whilst presenting. This is an individual job which will be on
blogger.
How did you work with your hierarchical
peers this week? Was it effective?
Yes, mainly Jasmeet and Farhana, which was
very effective since if something was unclear, all we had to do was ask for
clarification.
